United States Air Force Academy – This scenic pine filled campus with a Rocky Mountain backdrop is home to America’s future Air Force officers. Enter Colorado’s third most popular attraction at the North Gate for a glimpse of a B-52 bomber. Travel six miles to the visitor center, chock-full of exhibits, short films and a gift shop. Tour the stunning Cadet Chapel with 17 magnificent spires reaching 150 feet into the sky. Or check out Falcon stadium where the Air Force Falcons Football team plays, and keep an eye above where the skies are colored with cadets practicing parachuting and flying Thunderbird jets.

United States Olympic Training Center -The U.S. Olympic Complex in Colorado Springs is the headquarters for the U.S. Olympic Committee administration and the Olympic Training Center programs. There are 12 USOC member organizations that have their national headquarters on the complex, and 12 other member organizations with two international sports federations located nearby.

Free public tours are conducted daily on a year-round basis by the USOC Tour Program staff. The U.S. Olympic Spirit Store offers Olympic sports merchandise unavailable elsewhere. The tour includes a walk a long the Irwin Belk Olympic Path and visits to the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame rotunda and roof-top terrace with an Olympic flame display, which offers panoramic views of the entire complex and beautiful Colorado Springs.

  • Explore the Gold Mines – Mining is the core of how Cripple Creek, Colorado came to be. Gold was discovered in 1891 by a cowboy who transformed a sleepy, little ranching community into one of the world's richest gold camps. Tour the Mollie Kathleen Mine, descending 1,000 feet underground and its educational exhibits or Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine.

Cog Railway – The Cog Railway is one of the best ways to get to the peak, but you'll have to leave your fear of heights at the train station. Cog is easily the highest railway in the U.S. as it travels over 10,000 feet upward before bringing passengers to their destination.
